A relaxing massage is a gentle, soothing type of massage designed to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote an overall sense of well-being. Unlike deep tissue or therapeutic massages that focus on muscle knots or pain relief, a relaxing massage is all about helping you unwind—both physically and mentally. Please get in contact with us by calling 508-432-7855 to schedule an appointment or click here to be redirected to the Contact page!
Availability: By appointment only Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10am-4pm.
What to Expect in a Relaxing Massage:
Light to medium pressure—just enough to release tension without discomfort.
Long, flowing strokes (called effleurage)
Gentle kneading and rhythmic, smooth motions

A deep tissue massage is a therapeutic technique that targets the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue, often used to relieve chronic pain, muscle tension, and injuries from overuse. It involves slow, firm pressure and techniques like deep finger strokes and friction to break up scar tissue and improve circulation. Unlike gentler massages, it can be intense and may cause discomfort in tight areas. Deep tissue massage is especially beneficial for those with chronic pain, postural issues, or muscle recovery needs, rather than for general relaxation. If you feel that the therapist is too rough, alert your therapist. Communication is key! Availability: By appointment only Every day except Friday from 9 AM-5 PM
What to expect in a Deep Tissue Massage:
Uses firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle.
Techniques may include stripping (deep gliding pressure along muscle fibers) and friction (pressure applied across the grain of a muscle).
Your therapist may use fingers, knuckles, elbows, or forearms to apply pressure.
